City of Prattville to hold 7th Annual Worldwide Day of Play Saturday, September 16, 2017 For the 7th year, the City of Prattville is joining Nickelodeon, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, and the National Park Foundation in celebrating the Worldwide Day of Play event. In honor of the day, we will be holding a fun event for the children at Newton Park. The Parks and Recreation Department has planned a kickball tournament that will encourage kids to get up and get active during the Worldwide Day of Play event in the City of Prattville! The Kickball Tournament is geared for 1st-6th grades and teams will be broken out by age groups. Registration begins at 1pm and the tournament will begin at 2pm. 36th Annual Spinners Pumpkin Patch Arts & Crafts Show
SPINNERS PARK DOWNTOWN PRATTVILLE 390 West 6th Street Prattville, AL 36067 October 28, 2017 to October 29, 2017 Sat., 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sun., 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Exhibitors of original arts and crafts from throughout the southeast will display their wares under shade of pine and magnolia trees. Food vendors will provide a wide variety of taste treats. Homemade baked goods provided by Spinner members. Free entertainment Sat. and Sun. plus games, pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatables and many other children and youth activities. Special events: 5K & 5 mile run, Motorcycle & car show & Jack-o-lantern contest . Drawing for a queen size quilt hand made by Spinner members plus other valuable prizes. Event held annually on the fourth weekend of October.
Halloween Candy Walk in Downtown Prattville
October 30, 2017 in Prattville , AL 4pm – 6pm Prattville’s Annual Halloween Candy Walk, sponsored by the City of Prattville and the merchants of Downtown Prattville, will be held on Monday, October 30, from 4pm-6pm. Lines will start in front of City Hall and at the Fountain at the curve at Main and Court Streets. Dress up your toddlers through third graders and bring them downtown for an afternoon of trick-or-treating in a safe and fun environment. This is a free event, children are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the Autauga Interfaith Care Center food bank.
