The 2019 Expo is a three-day event that will highlight the latest and greatest in home building and remodeling trends and technology. The Greater Montgomery Home Builders Association is a professional trade association dedicated to promoting the American dream of homeownership in the River Region. As such, our goal is to be THE trusted resource for all aspects of the building industry. Our Association was formed in 1950 by a handful of builders who gathered to discuss the industry. Since then, the GMHBA has grown to nearly 1,000 business members, representing over tens of thousands of individuals in Montgomery, Elmore and Autauga counties. As one of the most respected organizations in Alabama, the GMHBA’s mission is to promote professionalism in the home building industry throughout greater Montgomery by providing education, legislation oversight, marketing and networking opportunities to its members.

Prattville Mardi Gras Parade & Celebration
Mardi Gras Celebration February 16, 11 am – 3 pm Prattville’s 15th Annual Mardi Gras Parade and Celebration will be held on February 16. The good times will begin to roll with food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, inflatables, and other activities at 11 am and a car show starting at 8 am at the Public Safety Building. The parade will start at 2 pm at the Autauga County Courthouse. It will follow Main Street through downtown, turn right on Northington then left on Doster Road, ending at Stanley Jensen Stadium. Soup Cook-Off Prattville Creative Arts Center and Gallery 342 South Chestnut Street, Prattville, AL The Prattauga Art Guild will hold their annual fundraiser for the Autauga Interfaith Care Center food bank on February 23 at the Prattville Creative Arts Center and Gallery (342 South Chestnut Street). There will be a Soup Cook-Off with teams and individuals competing for the Golden Bowl and Silver Ladle Awards. For a donation of $5 you get a cup of soup from one of our local restaurant sponsors, for a donation of $10 or more you get a cup of soup and a handmade bowl by a local artist.
